Follow me and I will make you fishers of Men 2-23-2026
What up what up! I love all of you and I hope the week was well! I have had a pretty good week and have learned so so much and for that I am grateful! Please feel free to reachout anytime I love hearing from you all.
This past week has been an intense learning curve. It was full of all sorts of ups and downs and I have grown in some interesting skills. This past week I did graphic designing and built something sweet for the mission, i went on an exchange with an Elder from Fiji, found a dude on Facebook Marketplace and bought bikes from him, and met and introduced our friend we met at a gestation to a general authority. Oh also we met Hank Smith(his son is in our mission) If that ain't a random list I don't know what is.
Let's start off with the graphic design. This mission has a vision to baptize 153 souls in one month. A couple weeks ago I received revelation on what I like to call the 153 vision board with the purpose of involving the members in our efforts to share the gospel and share the vision. I never knew how to put it together and I didn't know how to graphic design so I felt handicapped and couldn't do the project. Just a couple days ago out of nowhere I received revelation on how to create it and it was an intense process in which I went through a lot of drafts and critical thinking and critiquing. There is a senior missionary who is a graphic designer but he is so busy with audits and fiances I took on the projects and had him correct me with each design I made. It was an interesting process which exhausted the heck out of me. I'll send the vision board in the pictures.
Next I went on an exchange with Elder Yee from Fiji. I love this man. He looks up to me and I look up to him. We did some solid service and met some interesting people. He is a strong convert in the church and a lifelong friend to me.
Earlier that week I also found a guy on Facebook marketplace and he is basically our supplier now and has agreed to help us accomplish our vision in getting every missionary a safe decent bike to ride. We got 2 real nice bikes for 400 bucks. Heavenly Father led me to him thorough prayer and it was an awesome experience for me to meet this man. He's awesome his name is Justin.
While gassing up just before going in for the night we met this dude named Terek. It was so sweet we got him to an adult session of Stake Conference and HE ATE IT UP! He loved it so much and was like I wnat more this church is awesome. He met a general authority and told him how much he loved it and how he should get some coffee with him sometime. It was a joyful experience.
This last week I have learned a lot. Not only as far as life skills but in my discipleship. I fall flat on my face every day pleading for strengh and to grow in my conversion and each day brings a new challenge. I am a witness of the Power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Before my mission I was riding my lawn mower listening to a talk by Elder Holland during a difficult time of my life and he relayed the encounter Peter had with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ invites Peter to again give up his nets leave the boats and to "FEED MY SHEEP" The Savior says. I had the privilege to be reminded of that. To be reminded even more so of my commitment to Christ that day I felt that what I wanted more than anything was to feed His lambs. This project I have been working on is an invitation to the members to "Follow Him" I am grateful and bear witness that Jesus Christ lives and that His Atonement thay passes all understandings provides an undeniable abundance of Grace, Mercy, and divine Healing that only comes in and through Him. I love you all, and so does your Heavenly Father and savior Jesus Christ
Jacob 3:1 But behold, I, Jacob, would speak unto you that are pure in heart. Look unto God with firmness of mind, and pray unto him with exceeding faith, and he will console you in your afflictions, and he will plead your cause, and send down justice upon those who seek your destruction.
Love you all stay sweet!
