Baptism and the Pentagon 3-30-2026

Wow family and friends I love you all so much! This week was crazy! It was one of those weeks where two really good days cancel out a couple really bad days, but let me tell you about the really good days. We had an amazing district council and we cane up with a district culture together and the spirit of revelation was poppin! There is a set of sisters in my district who now have 2 friends within the last week ate so solid and elect and progressing towards baptism here at the beginning of April! I love seeing the Joy that emirates from missionaries who work hard and see the Hand of the Lord in their work and are able to rejoice!! Our friend Mykie is so awesome! We had Panara bread with him and a member and we just really bonded and became even better friends. He is just like me for real. We taught him the restoration and its so cool seeing the spirit work on him, a man who isn't religious whatsoever to be coming to church and meeting with missionaries. He is like my best friend these days! Our friend Ramata Williams got baptized! It was my companions first baptism and I really just let him coordinate everything and watched as he stressed to make things work and watch as our friend gets baptized. It was such a powerful experience and the Joy in my companion was something to behold. Afterwards we were hungry so we slammed a dominos pizza. Today we went to the Pentagon for our District activity and it was legit the best day ever!! Let me share just a couple of tender mercies. 1 The fact we even made it inside was a miracle! My companion is Ukranian and we planned it on short notice and we took a metro 45 minutes to just get there and none of us knew what we were doing haha 2 A sister In my district, her dad's best friend was killed during 911 working at the Pentagon and we found his name and life story inside the Pentagon. It was a tender moment and the spirit was so strong. 3 My companion doesn't like museums or cares to much for American stuff. To be fair he is from Ukraine and so it is a sensitive time and place to be. He did the tour for the sisters and for me who wanted to come and he was blessed for his sacrifice. At the end of our tour we met a member who lives in Korea on Government assignment and he is a district president down there. As we were leaving he calls back my Ukranian friend Elder Fushtei and shakes his hand and gifts Him a Korean Melchezidict priesthood military coin with an angel Moroni on it and said this is for you, you are a special Elder. There is only one of these coins and this is for you. We all felt the spirit and it almost brought me to tears. On the way home he was so happy and telling me how cool that guy was and how maybe when he goes home he won't be lazy and less active and he will be a good priesthood Holder in Ukraine. 4 I got myself and some others gifts at the Pentagon shop, one you can't access without an escort and I didn't have enough money to buy what I was hoping to purchase. The guy behind me slips a 50 dollar bill and says, "you can't go home empty handed now, besides your taxes pay my bills" I felt the love from a father in Heaven at that moment. 5 We did the Pentagon tour and did a whole bunch of preparation all for a sister in my district who is finishing her mission this transfer. Afterwards she said that was her best District activity ever and she was glad it was her last. Just a few days prior she had anxiety about going home and feeling like she was enough. At the Temple she received a confirmation that her mission was worthy before the Lord. Heavenly father is blessing her in her last transfer. 6 I saw Donald Trumps official portrait at the Pentagon and it was crazy! I never seen anything like it. Recently I have just seen the lord's infinite mercy in many different ways. He is quick to forgive, quick to heal, and quick to point us up to our Father in Heaven and to our Divine potential. I am beyond grateful for a Savior who has conquered spiritual and physical death for me so I can be reconciled to my Father in Heaven. I have learned even more so that walking the path of Discipleship is the only way. Christ is the way.... with that I leave my promise and testimony through the words of King Benjamin Mosiah 3:17 And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent. I love you all! Feel free to drop a line! Stay Sweet- Elder Williams
