Seek and Expect 2-9-2025
Beloved ones, oh how I have had a wonderful week. It was long, difficult, but full of so many miracles that outweigh everything else. I love and care for each and every single one of you wherever you may be. I appreciate all of the prayers. They are sustaining and they lift me up. Without further adieu let's get right into the week!
Monday was a blur I don't remember too much but Tuesday I definitely remember. I sought out a priesthood blessing after district council and it was special to me. Following the priesthood blessing I had a huge migraine and was not feeling well at all. Luckily I was at the mission office and received special treatment from all of the senior missionaries and I started to feel better and more energized. We went out that night and had a wonderful interaction filled with the spirit, one where we were able to extend a baptismal invitation! She didn't accept it, but definitely wants to learn more.
Wednesday we had a Book of Mormon class and it was powerful. Our friend from Turkey his English has been improving and he read the Book in English that day. We taught him again the restoration and he understands and believes it! We invited him to be baptized, but he first wants to attend a baptismal service in person.
Thursday we hit the morning hard and delivered and transported bikes and then later had President Interviews. It was scary, we talked about me going home soon. It's so crazy to me. I am grateful for the life-changing council and conversation we had. One that instilled in me greater faith, greater hope, and greater clarity on what lies ahead for me in my life and how to best prepare. That night we had a good lesson with our friend Benjamin and he had some great questions about the Fall of Adam. He's so elect.
Friday we hit it hard with bikes again. That night I was convinced Heavenly Father had something in store if we sought it. We knocked on a door and a guy opened the door and said I can't come to church with you Sunday. I'm already committed to your church service with my sister in Maryland who is meeting with the missionaries. You can come by next week though! Wow so elect. He's been reading the Book of Mormon and is so prepared. After all...God is a God of Miracles!
That night during accountability calls I realized. My goal has been this transfer to baptize one soul just one here in this area. In the office and in this area. Only 1 person has been baptized in the past 6 years. The miracle is I came to a realization that all 3 of the people we are teaching could be baptized this transfer. Back to back to back if they commit. I realized we could baptize weekly and don't have to stop at one but we can set the vision higher for ourselves and this area. Greater faith, and greater concentration make it all possible. I plead with Heavenly Father asking Him if this is possible in this area at this time. I was pleading and seeking what I needed to do to make it happen. As I prayed I came to the conclusion and said "Heavenly Father, there is nothing I myself can do to baptize weekly except try my best. Only thou would be able to take care of the rest and it'll be a witness to me that this is thy work and I myself cannot merit anything of myself. All I can do is be obedient and focus on Christ" The spirit that night witnessed to me we will be baptizing weekly and it is possible, but it will be nothing of my own doing. That is especially true with our assignment in the office prosselighting and teaching time is limited ten fold.
I learned that this Sunday when 2 out of our 3 solid friends missed church for various reasons, some of them being sickness. I knew it wasn't over yet. I prayed and said "Heavenly Father this is in thy hands. I have given my all and tried my best. Perform thy miracles that we may be able to baptize weekly"
At church no one came, it wasn't until after church some nearby Elders gave us a call and said Elders....We have a family of 4 for you to teach. Her kids are sick but they watched church over zoom. They are prepared and ready and seeking a community filled with Christ and they just barley live in the area I am now serving in....
Wow...This was nothing of ny own doing and God made sure I knew of it. His promises are being fulfilled as long as I stay faithful. We got in contact with them and will be having dinner with this family in a member's home soon. I testify that God is a God of Miracles, that all flesh is in His hands and we are numbered to Him. Numbers tell us a story and our of the billions and billions of us He has numbered, He knows our story.
I leave my prophecy and witness to each of you that read and follow my journey will see the miracles that have been laid before us and will too be able to behold the day we together with your added faith will baptize weekly With Christ In His name, even Chist Jesus The Anointed One
Please pray for our efforts to baptize weekly. I love yall!
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
I love you all! Stay Sweet-Elder Williams
