Round 3 of the office 2-2-2025

Friends family I love you all so much! I'm super tired this week so it might be a bit shorter. My main hope and prayer is that each of you just know of the infinite love our Father in Heaven has for each of us and the love that Our Savior and I have for yall. This past week was transfer week and I got the news I am staying! Not going to lie I know I am here for a reason but somedays I want out haha. This past week we got a crazy snow storm and so here are some fun things we did this past week! -Dug our tracker out from icy snow - Moved a new apartment in the snow -Had a dinner and devotional with the new missionaries - Transfers! -Extended two baptism dates - Had a spirit filled church tour! - Had an hour and a half long meeting with the YouTuber "outdoor boys" where he taught us how to grow our Facebook mission pages - Had a leadership meeting -Almost passed out - Shoveled our African Friend's driveway -Trained the MLC on accountability vision and administrative items This past week I have seen a lot of growth. I have also learned how to better take care of myself. This is important for each of us to learn and do. Here are some things I have pondered recently and wrote in my journal I like to call it the Doctrine of Self Care..... Often times in the Gosepl of Jesus Christ we see those that have performed many mighty works and have seemed to work without ceasing and seemed to have incomprehensible strength and stamina. Such is an apostle or a prophet who seems to be in incredible physical condition for their age and perform many favors. How is it they have the physical sustaining energy? Well they take care of themselves... Consider Nephi of Old 1 Nephi 17:1-3 1 He kept the Commandments 2 He ate food that provided him the nutrients he needed for the tasks at hand. Here is some council given to us from the Savior of the world D&C 112:14 Now, I say unto you, and what I say unto you, I say unto all the Twelve: Arise and gird up your loins, take up your cross, follow me, and feed my sheep. One of the Key words being "Gird" up your loins. To gird means to prepare. To prepare each day to follow the savior. Part of preparing ourselves is taking care of ourselves. Getting good rest. Eating good food. Excersizing. Spiritually preparing each day. All of these allow us to pick up our cross daily and follow the Savior Just like the man at the pool of Bethesda he was made whole and the Savior of the World invited him to, like in Doctrine & Covenants, he said John 5:7-9, 11 To take up his bed and walk. Each of us must prepare and Arise and take up our beds, our crosses and do all that we can do to magnify ourselves to serve and stand still and see the miracles God has in store for us. Part of that is in the preparation each day. My hope is I can come home from my mission a daily disciple of discipline each day taking care of myself so I can provide for those around me. I love you all! Stay safe out there its cold Stay sweet-Elder Williams
