We are so back, Back on Bikes 7-28-2025
I love all of you and I hope yall had a good week! I really love each email and letter I get! It makes my whole week. So thank you! Each of you have been in my thoughts and prayers so just know that I have your back and God's got your back.
This week has been critical for me and I have been just able to grow and gain a greater Understanding of how God can use me for good in this mission and in my life. He loves you and loves me and will do anything to help us become who we are destined to be as God's Children, even if you have mountains to climb and trials to face. That is evidence right there of God's love and Trust in you.
I have had the opportunity to go on an exchange with an Elder who served as my very first district leader when I got to the mission field and it was special for me. I was able to seen how I have grown the past year and able to put it in play and we received some great direction and Revelation from eachother. I also had the opportunity to be extra urgent and work extra hard! That is something I have missed dearly being as urgent and dilligent as possible has been a struggle the past 5 months given the situations, but I was able to build it back up and it feels amazing! We talked to hundreds of people and it was just a beautiful exchange where we are both doing good and can just work hard. We ended up having a lesson with 2 17 year old girls in the chapel with senior missionaries with us and it was so spirit filled and special to me. One of the girls was on date the other was her best friend who is catholic and was there as a support. By the end of the lesson both gained a powerful testimony born of the Spirit of the Restoration of this Church...it was powerful to be a part of.
Coming off that exchange I knew how I could balance urgency and diligence while meeting others where they are at and not run faster than I have strength. The answer was Jesus Christ. Who would've known. I had an experience where Thursday we got dropped off at the far corner of our area at mall and walked back to our apartment it was a 3 hour walk. Prior to that I prayed and committed to talking to every single person even those across the street exercising faith that He would place somone in our path. After talking to so many people, the very last person we talked to before our apartment and she was very interested and elect it was a testimant to me that time after time God will prevail!
We no longer have a car and have been put back on Bikes and for that I am grateful because it allows for a greater opportunity to hunt people down and invite them to come unto Christ. The timing couldn't have been more perfect! My companion is starting to find more purpose and the Lord is Building him up and it's amazing to see! It's been hard but it's been good!
The ward we are serving in right now is super small and the ward leadership isn't super strong because there are just so few people. We basically dont have any ward missionaries or ward mission leaders. The ward has been disconnected with the missionaries for a while and are kind of introverted. These past 3 weeks we have been slowly building the ward up line upon line and this past Sunday was absolutely amazing!
The first week I was there we stopped by every member and introduced ourselves and our vision and desire to do missionary work.
The second week we shared miracles in our teachings with them and invited them to participate by praying for us to see miracles and throughout the week we would send them texts of all the miracles we see as missionaries to get them involved!
This past week we continued with the miracles and then come Sunday we gathered a list we put together of the blessings we have seen in missionary work with story's to go along with it! During second hour we stopped by relief society and young woman's and shared the Joy and blessings of missionary work and had each member write down a freind on a paper and what they are going to do to help them Come Unto Christ! The spirit was so strong in relief society and young woman's it was powerful!
We had a meal with some members later that day and they happened to be former mission president's In California. They said the ward is electrified and they have seen a shift in energy and they want to do missionary work now!!
Holy miracles! God is so good and he loves his children so much! This next week we are going to be seeking referrals and inviting all to Come Unto Christ because this is the will of the Lord!
This past week I have also been seeking to influence this mission and the Missionaries around me. They are each so special and loved of God. I have been given great perspective having many opportunities to serve in different capacities around very different missionaries. I have seen what good can be done. I have had Joy as I have sought to spread his light across the zone and have been blessed to see small fruits of that. All that I have learned and all that I am is because of each of you on this email list, each and every single missionary I have served around, and Our Savior Jesus Christ. Remember that, and remember..."You Never Know the Good You Do"- Gordan B Hinckley
"I met a stranger in the night Whose lamp had ceased to shine.
I paused and let him light His lamp from mine.
A tempest sprang up later on And shook the world about.
And when the wind was gone My lamp was out!
But back to me the stranger came—
His lamp was glowing fine!
He held the precious flame And lighted mine!"
-Thomas S Monson
1 Nephi 11:6
Hosanna to the Lord, the most high God; for he is God over all the earth, yea, even above all. And blessed art thou, Nephi, because thou believest in the Son of the most high God
I love you all! Send me an email and.....
