Holy Baptism! 6-9-2025

Cynthia got baptized!! It was a journey getting there we faced a lot of opposition between 2 broken bikes, coordination issues, health issues, companionship struggles, difficult principals, and interviews...But God always prevails!! It was a beautiful ordination member involvement was amazing, the spirit was so strong, and Cynthia was glowing! To add the Cherry on top our recent convert I baptized in April got the preisthood today and he asked me to ordain him to the arronic preisthood...what a blessing. The heavens were open in the Vienna ward and Hell was shooken. I won't lie when I say this but holy cow I have been having a hard time. I have had the spirit witness to me multiple times that I am In a "Enduring" part in my life and I just need to hang on and you know what? That's ok! God has a perfect plan for me and he has a perfect plan for everyone because "Mortality works" We have been placed in a probationary state knowing that we will surely be tested and suffer many hardships, trials, and temptations knowing that everything will be ok because we have been Provided a Savior even Jesus Christ who has taken it all upon himself and performed the wonderful miracle of the Atonement. I will spare details but life has been very hard, but none of us will every go through anything the savior hasn't already been through and we can take comfort and find Joy in that..We can have "Joyful Reverance" it is the Joy that comes when we connect our suffering with the saviors and have a sure knowledge that we are not alone. On one of the days I was exchanging with an Elder in my area from China and I was down in the dumps. We walked for 6 hours it was hot and I was trying my hardest to find Joy and I caught myself periodically looking up knowing that my Heavenly Father was watching out for me. That morning I prayed for ministering Angels and wouldn't you know it we saw some miracles. A service missionary whom I love came picked us up took us to dinner and we went finding with him...I truly walked with the savior that day. The very next day I prayed again for ministering angels..wouldn't you know it our bike broke and it started raining and we were stranded. Someone came out with water and umbrella and we ended up getting a ride an hour later back and the next day we got a new bike! That next day I prayed again for angles to watch out for us and wouldn't you know it our brand new bike broke twice. We had somone fix it for us then it broke again. Then we had somone fix it again. We did also have 2 different people give us food and some drinks from starkbucks and that was a blessing. I have a very firm testimony of many things, but a strong testimony and a relationship with God doesn't mean our life will be easy and everything will be perfect because this is Mortality! We live in a very fallen world subject to trials and temptations every so that we may learn, grow and have Joy! That is something we can all cling on to! God will always have a perfect plan for us! His Mercy is infinite and he will always meet us where we are at, but because his Gace is perfect and sufficient he will always help us become who we need to become. These are lessons to be learned only in Liberty Jail.... 7 My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; 8 And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes 45 Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven. 46 The Holy Ghost shall be thy constant companion, and thy scepter an unchanging scepter of righteousness and truth; and thy dominion shall be an everlasting dominion, and without compulsory means it shall flow unto thee forever and ever.
