Testimony and Conversion 5-12-2025

This week was one for the Books not in terms of success but in terms of knowledge and pure power that comes from testimony and conversation to Christ. It was zone conference week and it was so powerful. Our mission leaders presented a training on the nature of God and his purpose and love for us. Something I liked was an analogy of how God is not an umpire trying to throw us out of the game but a 3rd base umpire cheering, leading, and guiding us home safely. Too often we make mistakes as human as we are and we feel God's Judgment and "wrath" upon us but in reality his love is infinite and will do anything to help us return home. He gave us his son Jesus Christ to emulate his love for us. When Jesus is asked about the father he says we are one. "If you have seen me you have seen the father" The savior is always outstretched towards us filled with perfect love and compassion for us..Just as the Father. This is what I needed to hear and what we all need to hear. I mentioned I struggle with beating myself up and it derives from a desire to do all I can to be worthy and to always serve my savior Jesus Christ with every fiber in my body... To do the best I can do, but when I fall short it's devastating. "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" I have done all I can this past week I have prayed more, more focus and energy on Christ, more studying and diligence, more outstretched hands to those in my district and my companion. I have seen mighty miracles and had many sacred experiences. I have had ministering angels and caught glimpse of the plan that God has for me. Again I am like Nephi of old in 2nd Nephi 4 My mission President recently told me to "Allow yourself grace and space to become through Christ" I am still figuring this out and it will probably be a lifelong process. I know the Grace of Jesus Christ is lifting me and lifting all of you. One of the most painful things is seeing God's Children refuse to come unto him and be healed. I'm not just talking about freinds we teach but missionaries. I despise nothing more than pride and the destructive nature and distance it places between God and men. I have served around a multitude of missionaries companions and Elders in my district who are stuck in a vicious cycle of Pride that destroys spiritual growth and healing and destroys conversation like the 7 deadly sin it is. My testimony is that we all have a testimony we all chose to come here on earth and to follow God's plan because we love him and we trusted his plan. So why won't we continue to do so? Why must we suffer here on Earth when we have such a gracious loving Heavenly Father who wants us to come unto him and have Joy? Why must we place ourselves above one another? Why must we suffer the consequences of pride? I am not perfect but I have a testimony that we all have a testimony and through humility and sincere repentance we can all be healed and experience conversion. Conversion is not a one time event. I know that God lives and that he has a perfect plan for us amidst all of our imperfections all he asks us to do is come unto him. I love all of you and so do your mother's. I know these things through the divine teachings and nurturing of My Mom, Tiffany Williams. Woman have a special divinity of God inherent love and compassion divinely Gifted to them from our Father in Heaven who knows we need our mother's. I see that in my Mom. I know these things to be true and that is the testimony in me. D&C 128 19 Now, what do we hear in the gospel which we have received? A voice of gladness! A voice of mercy from heaven; and a voice of truth out of the earth; glad tidings for the dead; a voice of gladness for the living and the dead; glad tidings of great joy. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those that bring glad tidings of good things, and that say unto Zion: Behold, thy God reigneth! As the dews of Carmel, so shall the knowledge of God descend upon them! 22 Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into singing. Let the dead speak forth anthems of eternal praise to the King Immanuel, who hath ordained, before the world was, that which would enable us to redeem them out of their prison; for the prisoners shall go free. "I have many things to say to you on the subject; but shall now close for the present" -Joseph Smith Shoutout to my Mom and ever Woman in my life Love (Elder Williams
