One of the weeks of all time 6-2-2025

I wouldn't know how to describe this week if I was asked to summarize it in one sentence so let's just refer to it as one of the weeks of all time. I'll just start off by saying training is not easy this week early on was super hard a lot of emergency comp studies if you know what I mean but we are chilling now we work well together it just took a hot second. We had a lot of meetings, President interviews, and lots of rain. Oh also had an exchange! Oh and it was stake conference weekend!! A little Miracle that has been taking place in our area is this lady named Cynthia we are teaching accepted a baptismal date and she Is getting baptized on June 8th! She is one of those people who are just so incredibly gfited and part of the believing blood and receives revelation like none other! Let's just say the veil is especially thin for her. When we knocked into her and introduced the Book Of Mormon she was so excited she knew God was omnipotent and had additional scripture and it answered questions she has had for decades. She has been homebound for 5 years super sick but since she started meeting with us she has been recovering! She came to church and loved it! We had previously extended two baptismal dates but she was just neutral until we taught her about the covenant and how it yokes her to christ and strengthens her and eases burdens because she has a lot, and how after she is baptized she can receive a patriarchal blessing! She loved that and it allowed to her to be more open and pray about it. She prayed about Baptism and instantly received revelation and had a dream/vision and wanted to be baptized. We immediately set up daily lessons with members and she watched stake conference and she is keeping all of the commandments and understands all of it and to be honest wants to make more covenants in the temple so please pray for her on June 8th! Opposition has the potential of being really strong this upcoming week for her and she is aware! Besides that...this week has been especially hard for me I discovered all of my weaknesses at once and that's hard Satan has been poking at me like and finding whatever crack even the smallest of Cracks in the armor of God. Easily some of my favorite scriptures come from Paul in 2nd Corinthians 12:7-9 7 There was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. My mission President shared something with me, a weakness that he didn't know he had until after his mission when him and his brother didn't get along very well and it allowed him to see. It took him 20 Years to figure it out and something he still struggles with and is a lifelong process. It was a testimony to me that God knows me and had a plan for me because he put this man in my path to lead me along my path back to the Father. There is a Service missionary who struggles with similar weakness and God has put him in my path I love him so much. Life is hard every Virtue has a vice. A promise that was extended to me is that I could have confidence in God's presence and Satan wouldn't be able to poke at me and bother me of course he could still tempt me but I'd have power to crush his skull rather than falter by the wayside and get discouraged when I am Good enough and am enough. That is powerful! I have struggled on my mission with letting God prevail in my life and I am finally figuring out how and it is found in and through the covenants we have made. We will never be forsaken or forgotten in fact we have increased love and mercy we have "Hesed" Sure we can know of these things but truly internalizing it brings power and the pure love of Jesus Christ! Granting us Charity! Not only towards those we serve, and those we love but towards ourselves. As we allow virtue to Garnish our thoughts unceasingly thinking kindly of others and ourselves thay Gives us Godly confidence as we are truly penitent and coming unto Him. The work is moving forward this area isn't known for baptizing but miracles are happening God is gathering his elect out of the 4 corners of the Earth and new revelations are coming forth and God's plan and purposes are being brought forth! Let us not miss the majesty of this Moment. I love you all so much feel free to reach out and go fishing for me.
