We on the Ultralight Beam 10-28-2024

Monday was wild we drove for like 4 hours traffic was awful swear my comp and I were road raging everyone kept speeding cutting off and doing Virginia and Maryland things. People are built different here.

Tuesday was wild two people were going home and transfer news came. We went to a hick restaurant and had some bison burgers for our zone leaders dying wish after district council. My comp and I taught a Book Of Mormon class and it was so powerful being able to read with a group of people and testify and teach of the spirit and it's role in receiving a witness of Christ and of the Book Of Mormon and all 9 people in the room including me made the commitment to pray about the Book Of Mormon and it was so powerful. One of those knee shakers fr. We got transfer news and I'm staying which is gonna be good for the area we are doing some great stuff. Transfers were wild though they whitewashed the aps and blue washed, white washed the zone leading area here and created another district and did a bunch of other crazy things.
Wednesday was absolutely wild. We were triod up with my fav Elder Tuala for Tuesday night and Wednesday morning and we had a little to much fun. We left the apartment at 8 to go to some other Elders apartments to grab some stuff went to service at 9 am got back went to bdubs, had a w lesson, did another emergency service for over 2 hours at a food bank it was wild. Then we went did some proselytizing, had a member meal with a part member family, little kids are adorable, amazing family, then we went and had another lesson and it had just been going going going nothing has been structured and it's been an interesting start to a week lol.
Thursday was transfers! It was just a normal day for my comp and I we had an awesome plan of salvation lesson and the spirit was so strong bro is for sure gonna get baptized. We also made another pizza and it was so good I'm getting better and better at it.  We did some phone work in a park with such beautiful leaves it made me so happy. We stopped by a family we are teaching to drop off a kids story Book Of Mormon for one of the kids we ordered and her mom pulled into the driveway as soon as we got there and she was in a rush to leave somewhere within the next five minutes so the timing was crazy.  The little girl who we gave the copy to, her name is Samira(it means land of God) was so excited she said she was going to keep it for generations and she gave us a hug totally against mission rules but her mom condoned it. I love their family.
Friday was just an interesting day. We started off with some good Ole service with a member for a widow cutting down vines that were choking big Ole oak trees and it was so fun. We later were walking down the road and some Muslim dude pulls in a car all dripped out in robes and just starts telling us we pray wrong and that Jesus was just a prophet you know normal Muslim activity. Bro just started bashing us and then tried to get us to hop in his car to go to a mosque and read the Quran with him immediately after that we ran into another dude who we taught about the Book of Mormon and baptism then bro just started bashing us saying we can't baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son because we don't know know the fathers name idk man weird stuff everyday. What made it weirder is it was right outside a friends apartment that we were about to have a lesson with and a member pulled up mid bash it was a great lesson with the member though after that I am thankful for the Book Of Mormon and the light it sheds. We found a guy named Jared whom we taught 3 weeks previously but didn't have his phone number or apartment number and we finally found him again after praying and found his apartment number and set up a return appointment and gave us his number. It was so hype.
Saturday was filled with crazy miracles. First off we had a buss member meal for lunch and one of the kids accidently threw moldy bread at me, but besides that we met with our friend Donna. Donna is awesome she lives in a dookie nursing home for people who are sick or handicapped and the employees are awful there it's baddd. She has been a member for three years but for her the past 6 months she felt as if the windows of heaven have been shut and she is left alone. She reads her scriptures and prays and the one time we got her to sacrament meeting she told us she felt peace taking the sacrament for the first time in over a year.  Besides all of that she quite literally has "the very jaws of hell" open against her as the scriptures put it. She has had the Jehovah witnesses and Catholics coming and harassing her all week and she mentions every time she does something aligned with God's will she is found with some crazy opposition. She told us she just wants to find Jesus and never lose him. With all that said in done my companion and I felt very strongly to invite her to work towards getting endowed and she is all in for it. We gave her the prophets promise which states..... "Every sincere seeker of Jesus Christ will find Him in the temple. You will feel His mercy. You will find answers to your most vexing questions. You will better comprehend the joy of His gospel"   we are so excited for her words can't describe also we had a baller lesson with our friend Dominique and she is finally gonna get baptized, we had a recent convert zoom in and bear testimony and help her answer questions and it was so good God is so great. She has even read half of the Book Of Mormon and she has drawn so close to God through it.
Sunday was so nice we had stake conference and it was amazing. We later went to go proselyte and knock and apartment some lady told us to go to and we walked into the complex and it smelled so bad, it smelt like someone took a dookie, not one but 500 dookies and then out them in a sealed container and let it cook in the sun, We were like praying she didn't open the door cause if she did I wouldn't have been able to survive the lesson and I would've thrown up. We ended up finding two friends later that day and had two great lessons. One of the was a guy warning us about who we marry due to his life experiences and then we talked about Jesus and we got to know him really well. Turns out bro read the Bible and actually interpreted it right he was just expressing opinion and throwing out ideas and literally all of it just about aligned with eternal truths found in the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and he doesn't even realize it, he is so elect just trust. We also had a w lesson with a friend whom we have been working with and are starting to see progress it's hype we talked so much on prayer and faith and just those two things right there are so powerful.

18 For he is the same yesterday, today, and forever; and the way is prepared for all men from the foundation of the world, if it so be that they repent and come unto him.
19 For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round.
22 And the Holy Ghost giveth authority that I should speak these things, and deny them not.
