The Land of Milk and Honey 9-16-2024

 Ayeee what's good gang. This past week has been absolutely wild without a doubt. So many miracles, so much work, so much stress, so much change, and so many blessings. To start off last Monday my comp was packing to go home and come Tuesday we run an exchange and my good friend Elder Tuala and I popped off we had so much fun and found so many friends and even put our good friend Dominique on date for baptism on September 28th!! Please pray for her she's so awesome. 

    Anyways that same day we dropped off Elder swan so since we were on an exchange with Elder Tuala I was the only one able to plan the day and work area book and the phone. Then come Wednesday I got thrown into a trio companionship outside of my area but yet I was still In charge of my area so I just did a ton of phone work and keep track of the 15 friends we had and all the plans and schedules by myself I was just cooked.

  Come transfers on Thursday I meet my new companion and for the first two days he wasn't in area book so I did all of the planning preparing schedule messaging all by myself again and my mind was constantly spinning but the work was awesome. Somehow we managed to have lesson after lesson and found so many people who are drawing closer to God through our efforts and the commitments they make to read and pray and it has made the work so Joyful amidst all of the many headaches. We also didn't have any food in our apartment all week haha. 

   The real struggle is my companion was in the richest county in America and he has only been out on a mission for 2 transfers and he has had the most disobedient trainers ever in an area where everyone is rich so he basically hated life and had maybe 1 lesson a week. With all that said in done he hasn't had a great mission experience so far and he is finishing my training. It's interesting because he tells me that I know more than him when it comes to missionary work and it creates a weird duality. I love him so much but he is so negative and struggles to find Joy in the work even after a day when people are just awesome and lessons are happening. We have had some pretty good conversations and we both love cooking and are getting pretty close it just breaks my heart when he struggles to find Joy during the most joyous experiences In people's lives. 

   We have exceeding all of our finding Goals and have had so many lessons and God has been working his hand in people's lives it has been amazing to experience. One day after going to a random place at a random apartment super spirit led we knock on one door out of the whole complex and we share a message and this lady just starts breaking down crying and saying she just prayed for help from God and we came at the right time and she was having a really hard day and the message we shared resonated with what she was going through and I just wanted to cry with her. God is so Good. 

    My good friend Daniel from Benin Africa  we have been working with to prepare for baptism for a while who we just had a great lesson with him on Saturday and I love him so much. We found out Sunday morning after seeing he didn't make it to church he got sent to the hospital after we visited with him on Saturday and it broke my heart. I found out what room number he was in called him stopped by and gave him a blessing and it was so spiritual and being able to see God's love for him and the power that comes from God to bless our lives as we exercise authority in his name. Needless to say is our hearts were full and he was at peace.

    Ya'll I have never been so mentally exhausted and now physically because I feel as if I am getting sick as I right this email from overworking but life is so Good and God is so great. Amidst every feeling I couldn't be happier than I am now seeing God's children draw closer to him through the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

   Just so everyone is aware everything I write in my email is but a small portion of my week.  There are hundreds of miracles every week and I only have the time and energy to write but a few hahaha.
